the yonders

We moved our family and our livestock here to this beautiful forested 100 acres in the Highlands of Cape Breton Nova Scotia in 2006 in order to develop a self sufficient homestead. With backgrounds in architecture and mechanical engineering, we are enthusiastic about good design and sound building practices. Our goal is to create a beautiful and functional homestead that allows us to live closely and sustainably with this precious place.
